At BAE Systems, we are working with our long-term partners and allies to combat these threats. We are an international company engaged in the development, delivery and support of advanced defence and aerospace systems in the air, on land, at sea and in space.

Global presence

With operations across five continents, customers in 130 countries and 90,000 employees worldwide, our work matters to people and governments the world over. We design, manufacture and support military aircraft, surface ships, submarines, space systems, radar, avionics, electronic systems, guided weapons and a range of other defence products.

In all our fields of expertise, we have a history of innovation but our sights are fixed firmly on the future. We currently have an order book worth £50.1 billion, annual sales of £13,479 million through our wholly owned and joint venture operations and an annual spend on R&D of £1,720 million, which means we average 100 new inventions a year.
